Is it legal to sell coupons on ebay?

I've seen people selling coupons on ebay, under the premise that they aren't charging for the coupons themselves, but instead are charging for the service of clipping and redistriburting them.





Is this legal?

Odd question.. but the answer would always be.. if you don't think it is worth it, don't buy it..


I don't think it is unreasonable for a person to expect consideration for taking the time to find the deal or capitalize on being in the right place at the right time.


If you buy a box of cereal you are paying as much for the packaging as you are for the food inside it :)


If you buy a postage stamp to mail a letter.. they cost less than a penny to make.. but 40 cents to buy..


if you don't think it is a fair deal.. you have the right to close the browser window and look for a better one.


Chances are, if it is a coupon, with a little bit of searching, you can find their source and get it for nothing.
